How to use it

  1. Print it and put it where your child will see it, like on the fridge.
  2. Write two of your own tasks into the empty rows together with your child.
  3. Agree on how many points each reward costs. Your child can write their own wish into the empty box at the bottom.
  4. Add up the points on Sunday. Whatever your child doesn’t spend carries over to next week in the “From last week” box. That’s how they learn to save for a bigger reward.

A few tips

  • Start with five tasks, not twenty. Add more once your child manages them.
  • A reward should cost something. Your child then knows they earned it and learns that bigger things take longer to save for.
  • Your child colors in the circles. You just check that the task really got done.
